Green Career Programs

Programs like Intervine and NYC CoolRoofs are designed to provide practical, transitional employment opportunities, emphasizing energy efficiency and green infrastructure. Participants in these programs are paid a $15 hourly wage, benefiting from both training and financial support as they transition into the workforce.

Certifications Offered

Participants in The HOPE Program have the opportunity to earn various certifications critical for career advancement in their respective fields. The certifications offered include OSHA 30 Construction, which covers safety compliance; 8hr Fall Prevention, which teaches safe practices for working at heights; and Green and Clean HVAC, which focuses on environmentally friendly heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The Green and Clean HVAC program also provides stipends and includes a paid internship component, giving participants hands-on experience.
