Over the decades, it has expanded its services and operations to provide a comprehensive support system for individuals and families in need. In the 1990s, The Rescue Mission also established a foundation to ensure its long-term financial viability.
Services Offered by The Rescue Mission
The Rescue Mission offers a wide range of services, including emergency housing for men and women for up to 30 days, and short-term and long-term residential programs designed to tackle issues such as unemployment and addiction. The Mission serves three meals a day, 365 days a year, and offers community meals open to the public. Specialized programs provide mental health services through partnerships with organizations like Parkview Behavioral Health. Additionally, chapel services are held three times a week.
