TSCNET Services offers a comprehensive portfolio of integrated services to electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) and their control centres. These services include grid security, outage planning coordination, coordinated capacity calculation, and short-term adequacy assessments. TSCNET also supports post-operation and post-disturbance analyses, defence and restoration support, and regional restoration optimisation as requested by TSOs.

Grid Stability
TSCNET Services plays a crucial role in maintaining the reliability of the power system in Europe. It provides secure direct access to databases for customers, enabling them to perform their own calculations. The company ensures the provision of grid capacities and coordinates countermeasures in case of bottlenecks in electricity production or consumption. Added to this, TSCNET facilitates the regional procurement of balancing capacity and calculates the maximum entry capacity available for participating foreign capacity in capacity mechanisms.
Collaboration and Compliance
TSCNET Services collaborates closely with the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E), the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), and other RCCs. Assigned to multiple regions, including the System Operation Region Central and Capacity Calculation Regions Core and Italy North, the company also assumes the RCC role for the Capacity Calculation Region Hansa along with the Nordic RCC. Each national Transmission System Operator is obliged by European Commission legislation to delegate certain services to a RCC like TSCNET.
