Claims are processed with a target reimbursement time of two weeks for insurance and within 24 hours for wellness plans.
Wellness Plans
Wagmo's wellness plans furnish extensive routine care coverage for dogs and cats, providing up to $1,100 in annual reimbursements. These plans cater to various everyday care needs such as annual vet visits, grooming services, and specialized telemedicine consultations via the VETalk service. Importantly, wellness plans do not impose restrictions based on age, breed, pre-existing conditions, or health status, and are accessible across all states in the USA. Users are free to select any veterinarian, as the plan operates on a reimbursement model.
Insurance Plans
Wagmo's insurance plans are designed to cover major pet health expenses arising from accidents, illnesses, and injuries. After the deductible, these plans can cover up to 100% of costs in select states. Coverage includes claims that typically get reimbursed within a two-week period. There is a 15-day waiting period for accident and illness coverage, and a 30-day waiting period for cancer coverage. These plans aim to provide comprehensive support for significant veterinary expenses, facilitating urgent and emergency pet care needs.
VETalk Service
Included in Wagmo's wellness plans, the VETalk service provides 24/7 access to licensed veterinary experts. This service allows pet owners to seek advice and consultations at any time, ensuring that expert veterinary guidance is always available. The VETalk service supports timely decisions regarding pet health and routine care, helping pet owners manage their pets' well-being effectively.
