We’re thrilled to announce Find AI v3, the latest version of our tool designed to make finding people and companies easier, faster, and smarter than ever before. When we first launched Find AI, our goal was to simplify how founders, recruiters, and investors search for people and analyze professional data. With v3, we’re taking everything to a new level.

What Is Find AI?

Find AI is a tool that uses natural language processing and AI to perform Perplexity-style searches over LinkedIn-type data. Instead of opening dozens of tabs, manually scanning profiles, or running overly rigid keyword searches, you can ask Find AI vague or nuanced questions—and it will find and analyze the results for you.

For example:

  • "Head of alternatives investing at large private wealth firms"
  • "AI startups that use Open AI and have done a series A already"
  • "Sales people who have posted about using AI in their sales process"

Our users include venture capitalists (VCs) tracking stealth founders, recruiters searching for specific talent, and founders looking for high-intent leads.

What’s New in v3?

We’ve made significant upgrades in Find AI v3 compared to the original version. Here’s what makes it stand out:

1. Bigger and Better Dataset

  • Our new deep research agents aggregate data from multiple sources, giving us access to over 1 billion profiles—that’s larger than LinkedIn’s dataset.
  • This expanded dataset allows you to search for and find matches across industries, geographies, and professional roles at an unprecedented scale.

2. More Powerful Algorithm

Our v3 algorithm has been completely reengineered to handle complex, nuanced queries. This means you can perform searches that weren’t possible before, such as:

  • "Head of alternatives investing at large private wealth firms"
  • "Ex-OpenAI employees founding stealth startups."
  • "AI companies that have raised more than $20M in Series A funding."
  • "Fullstack engineers with experience in Go and Svelte."

These kinds of searches allow users to zero in on exactly the types of profiles they’re looking for.

3. Rebuilt Tech Stack

We’ve rebuilt the entire application for speed and scalability:

  • Goodbye Ruby on Rails: While Rails served us well initially, it couldn’t handle the scale-out requirements of our massively parallel research agents.
  • Hello Go + Svelte: Go’s concurrency capabilities and Svelte 5’s fast rendering and state management allowed us to achieve a 10x performance improvement. The result is a snappier, smoother user experience.

We’ve also introduced new UI features, including threaded searches, to make workflows even easier.

4. API Access

Find AI is no longer just a standalone tool—it’s now available as an API for integration into your own apps and workflows.

  • Use our API to add the power of Find AI’s search capabilities to your systems.
  • Coming soon: Our enrichment API will allow for Perplexity-like Q&A about any person or entity.

Additionally, we’re excited to announce that Find AI’s API is available as an integration in Clay, making it even easier to incorporate into your existing workflows.

Why We Built Find AI

Finding the right people has always been a challenge. As founders, we are always looking for hires, investors, and sales leads. This previously meant opening countless LinkedIn profiles and reading them one by one, taking hours.

It wasn’t just us. We discovered that many others—recruiters, VCs, and sales teams—spend hours every day doing the same thing. We started building Find AI to solve this problem.
